President Obama and his mouthpieces have embarked on the bizarre structure to hypnotize America into forgetting the countless scandals of his presidency. They appear to think that intoning “this administration hasn’t experienced a scandal” again and again will make history disappear. It’s the lamest Jedi Mind Trick ever, and has been pressed on people who know Star Wars is just a movie.
Vast amounts of taxpayer money were squandered on foolish tasks that came near to the Keynesian economic satire of employing many people to dig openings, while others to fill up them in. Obama added insult to injury by appointing Vice President Joe Biden as the “sheriff” who supposedly find all of that missing stimulus loot. Americans mostly finished up footing the expenses for was an army of government jobs, and a lavish network of slush funds for the Democratic Party and its own union allies. We’re supposed to forget about everything because years later, Obama’s weak overall economy finally dragged itself to something similar to normal “official” work levels… with the U.S. Carter-era lows. Sorry, Democrats, but that’s more than simply failed plan.
It’s one of the worst government-spending scandals in our history. Democrats will howl to the moon considerably over, smaller abuses of taxpayer money during the Trump administration far, should any occur. Operation Fast and Furious: Obama partisans appear to think any given example of misuse or ineptitude by their man stopped being truly a “scandal” as soon as it seemed clear he wouldn’t be impeached over it.
It is difficult to assume any Republican administration making it through anything remotely near to Fast and Furious. The mass media could have dogged a Republican chief executive without respite, particularly when it became clear his Attorney General was putting a political spin before accountability and the security of the American people. Remember, AG Eric Holder escaped perjury charges by declaring he didn’t know what his own subordinates were doing – a pioneering, but not unique sadly, example of an Obama public using his or her incompetence as a protection. For years afterward, some version would be noticed by us of “I’m not a crook, I’m just completely inept” all over the place from the Department of Health and Human Services to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Incidentally, the Border Patrol named a place in southern Arizona in Agent Brian Terry’s honor. On New Year’s Eve, individuals unknown terminated rifle pictures at a Border Patrol vehicle close to the station. Eric Holder kept in contempt of Congress: This was a result of Operation Fast and Furious, but it merits distinction as another scandal in its own right.
Holder was the first sitting down member of a president’s cabinet in the annals of America to be kept in contempt of Congress. ObamaCare: Everything about ObamaCare is a scandal, from the President’s incessant lies about keeping your old plan if you liked it, to Rep.
